Bought these to replace a pair of 20 year-old Birkenstock Arizonas that I wear as slippers around the house. They fit the same as the Arizona style did. (I wear an 8.5 or 9 depending on brand and I am a 40 in both Birkenstock styles. ) I would say this pair is cute enough to leave the house (where my others never did!) but they still aren't quite stylish due to their clunkiness. However, they were comfortable right out of the box and feel wonderful on my feet. You cannot beat the arch support and the footbed comfort. They probably need some break-in time before walking great distances to allow feet to get used to the new strap lines, but they were surprisingly comfortable (even with their somewhat stiff straps) and the toe loop doesn't cause any discomfort for me, either.....READ MORE REVIEW
